Description
The Red-leafed rose is not your classic rose. The classic looking rose is circular with many petals overlapping to create a spiralling effect. The rosa glauca’s flower is solely made up of 5 pink-white petals of 2 inches in length in a pentagonal pattern. Due to the bright colours of the petals, pollinators are very attracted to it whereas ground nesting birds can seek refuge under dens entangled branches.
Growing to roughly 2.5 meters, this shrub will thrive in many environments in the UK as it loves all moist and well-drained soil types.
