Large Leaf Lime – Tilia platyphyllos (Potted)

Description

Large leaf lime, Tilia platyphyllos, is a deciduous tree that grows to 40m. Its branches tend to grow upwards rather than outwards to make a fairly tight middle to upper part of the tree. When used for creating an avenue to a stately home it is very effective. It is used in streets and parks up and down the country. It produces fragrant white flowers making it a very effective ornamental tree when planted on its own. It will grow in most types of soil.
