Description
The common deciduous shrub, the field rose, can be seen scattered around hedgerows and bushes across the UK. With large serrated-edged, deep green coloured leaves and fine pink flowers, the field rose shrub is a great addition to any garden. In some specific climates the dog rose is considered an invasive, aggressive weed as it is classified as such by Australian and New Zealand conservationists. Whereas in the moderate climate of the UK, it does not spread to the extent where it may displace other vegetation.
