Small Leaf Lime – Tilia cordata (Bare rooted)

Description

Small Leaf Lime, Tilia cordata is a deciduous tree. It is quite a rare tree to find and can grow to around 30m high. It does require a large garden or parkland. One lovely feature is that it produces a large dome shaped crown as it matures. This canopy is excellent for animals (and humans) to lie under to shade from the sun. It is an easy tree to train both as a bonsai tree or for espalier. It will grow in poor soil, but can be drought prone.
